Mission brief
Context
Belgian publisher of a platform that lets client-sellers transfer to buyers the right to a share of the revenue of their business, known as a passive right, with support from lobbyist-facilitators. Its day-to-day bookkeeping feeds the work of the external accountant.
Tasks
- Record purchase and sales documents under the Belgian standard chart of accounts (PCMN), Peppol e-invoices included.
- Carry out bank reconciliations and match open items on customer and supplier accounts.
- Prepare the VAT filings for the external accountant.
- Request missing or inconsistent documents.
Deliverables
- Purchase, sales and bank journals recorded, with no pending document.
- Bank reconciliations cleared at each period close.
- VAT file per period: filing boxes completed, supporting documents filed.
Profile
experience in Belgian company bookkeeping, PCMN, VAT, Peppol invoicing, hands-on use of a common Belgian accounting package. Fluent French.
Terms
Remote, working with the external accountant, in French. The stated volume is a ceiling, with no set working hours.
